About Ragicssage
A small studio with a stubborn editorial standard.
Ragicssage was founded in 2018 by two former magazine editors who'd watched the content marketing era flatten editorial standards. We made a deliberately small studio: two senior editors, a tight bench of writers we've worked with for years, and a deeply unfashionable belief that the only way to write well is slowly, and on purpose.
How we work
Every brief starts with a 30-minute kickoff call. Every draft is written by a named writer with a published portfolio. Every draft is edited by a senior editor before it reaches you. Two rounds of revision are included; we rarely need a third.
On AI
We don't use generative AI to draft anything we ship. We use it for research synthesis and pattern-checking, but the writing itself is human. We think this matters.
Who we take on
Most engagements are retainer or sprint. We're selective — we take on roughly half the briefs that come in, because we'd rather do a small number of pieces well than a large number adequately.
